Halloween 2020 won’t be like any other in years past: It falls on a Saturday–Yay! But it’s also taking place in the middle of a global pandemic–Boo!
The California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) wants to remind you we are still battling COVID-19 and there are three simple steps to keep you, your family, and your community safe and help slow the spread of the coronavirus:
- Wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth in addition to your costume.
- Wash your hands with soap and water for a least 20 seconds.
- Maintain physical distancing with individuals outside of your immediate household.
Finally, if you opt to wear a pair of costume (cosplay) contact lenses to complement your ghoulish get-up, there is only one way to ensure the lenses are legal and safe to wear: Visit a licensed eye-care professional. Watch this 2019, PEEL by DCA video for more information.
